Synopsis:
Under the icy surface, survivors of
Colony Seven struggle as food supplies decrease and temperatures continue to
drop. Harassed by disease and internal conflicts, settlers suspect the worst
when they mysteriously lose contact with Colony Five - the only other known
settlement. Sam (Zegers), a mechanic of strong character, with a tragic past,
joins a team led by Briggs (Fishburne) on a dangerous expedition to find out what
happened. After a hellish journey, they discover a much worse threat than
imagined, and now Colony Seven must win a fierce battle to preserve the past of
humanity.
